Join Hiroko Uraga-Senese to make your own Shimenawa, a Japanese New Year’s wreath meant to welcome good fortune and ward off evil. Using raffia ribbon and decorated with symbols like cranes, pine, and flowers, it’s a beautiful way to celebrate the season.
